Welcome to Preakness Day 2013.
I’m only posting a Pick 3 centering around the Preakness.
11th- I’ll use #4 Imagining and #9 Swift Warrior.
12th-In the Preakness—Orb is obviously the horse to beat but I’ve seen too many horses in the past who look invincible only to fall short.
In order of preference… and I’ll use all of them in the Pick 3.
#1 Orb
#9 Itsmyluckyday
#7 Will Take Charge
#6 Oxbow
13th- #8 Code West will be a short price and the Pick 3 will be real short if Orb wins the Preakness but this one looks too easy.
Pick 3: 4,9//1,6,7,9/8 for a cost of $8 for every $1 punch
Hope you are crushing the early races and make enough to need a Brinks truck to haul it all home.

Welcome to Preakness weekend
Very tough card this afternoon at Pimlico.
As always, I’ll be keying most of my play on just a few horses but will be playing the Pick 3′s and Pick 4′s.
8th- Ms. Preakness Stakes
#2 Thread looks very solid for Al Stall
9th- Turf Sprint
No strong opinion in here but how can you not root for Ben’s Cat
10th- The Black-Eyed Susan
#6 Maracuya will be my top pick. I don’t like Emolient to repeat that last effort and at a short price I will try to beat her.
The scratches of Manuka Honey and Walkwithapurpose led me to Maracuya who should be an okay price.
11th- The Very One
#3 Sensible Lady looks very tempting at 6-1.
I’ll also use #10 Spun Cap but I don’t know what kind of price she will be for Rosario.
12th- Pimlico Special
#7 Last Gunfighter looks very logical is a weak edition of the race. Richard’s Kid could be overlooked and if the old man has anything left, he could be the upsetter.
13th- Hilltop Stakes
This is a very interesting race to close out the day.
#5 Premier Steps gets back on the turf and is 2nd out for Chad Brown.
#10 Summer of Fun could be any kind if she figures the game out.
Had a good day yesterday as Warren’s Veneda won and paid $13.80.
Enjoy your day and may all of your wagers be winning ones.

I apologize for not posting on a more frequent basis.
I’ve been following Churchill, Belmont and Hollywood these days. I will be posting a few selections for Friday and Saturday at Pimilico.
I have 2 selections from my Stable Mail notes for this afternoon.
Churchill-
I like a first-time starter at Churchill today. #7 Electric Temptress in the 4th. The same connections sent out More Than Beauty on May 9th and the filly crushed the field.
Hollywood-
In the 5th- #5 Warren’s Veneda goes back to turf after a very impressive win last out. This one may be worth a look.
Have a great day.

Welcome to Friday of Derby week 2013.
Of course, the main attraction is the 11th race or The Longines Kentucky Oaks.
I’ve concentrated on the Pick Four that concludes with The Oaks.
8th- The Eight Belles
What a tough race to start the sequence.
My top pick will be #8 Gold Medal Dancer. This young filly has impressed me a lot and will be a great price.
#9 So Many Ways makes the initial start for Tom Amoss but has been training well at Churchill.
#14 Calistoga gets a terrible post and will need a bunch of help.
#4 Sittin At the Bar keeps the hot jock Bridgmohan and will be on all of my tickets.
#3 Blueeyesintherein is undefeated and could get a great trip in here.
#1 Chortle will try to get lose on the lead and will get a true acid-test.
9th- The Alysheba
I had a very difficult time with this race.
#9 Cyber Secret will be the top selection based off the last 4 efforts that just look very tough.
#8 Bourbon Courage is one who I’ve bet since seeing him at the WV Derby. I keep waiting for this one to break lose.
#4 Hymn Book always looks like he is set for a breakout performance but always seems to fail to do so. Must be respected.
#6 Take Charge Indy has been working well and should be set for the 2nd off the layoff.
10th- The American Turf
Okay, here is the single of the day. I can’t offer much of a price but #4 Noble Tune just looks like he should handle these.
11th- The Longines Kentucky Oaks
This is one of the best races I’ve seen in a long time. I actually love betting the Oaks and really enjoy the fillies who often get overlooked.
I’m going to go against the top 3 in here and look for a little value in #4 Unlimited Budget.
#5 Seaneen Girl will be a big big price and will be on all of my tickets. I love the CD effort last November.
#8 Dreaming of Julia will be the favorite off of the monster effort last out. Can she repeat that number? I’m skeptical and so I’ll use her underneath and let he beat me.
#2 Midnight Lucky is a beast according to all accounts but I’ll let her show me she can run back to that Sunland effort.
#3 Beholder needs the lead and unless they let her alone, I don’t see her lasting long enough but has to be used underneath on your tickets.
#11 Close Hatches is undefeated for Bill Mott and would have been one of the top picks if she drew another post.
Race 8- Pick 4 ticket that has been played…
4,8,9//4,6,8,9//4//4,5 …..$12 for .50 tickets.
Race 9- Pick 3 ticket that has been played…
4,6,8,9//4//2,4,5,8,9,11 ….$12 for .50 tickets
I’ll try to post some added plays on Twitter during the races.
Have a great day.

Welcome to day 2 of Derby week at Churchill Downs.
I am focusing on two runners this afternoon.
I’ll be playing Clement Rock in the 6th race and Theycallmeawesome in the 8th.
I’m sure I don’t have to remind anyone but, the Derby Draw is set for 5PM EST and you can watch it on the NBC Sports Network.
Have a great day!
